Congrats on your weight loss and new healthy lifestyle! I'm back after recently having a baby (our 4th) and I only have 30 to lose (AGAIN) and it seems like it will take forever. You look happy and healthy and great! You are doing a good thing for your kids too.

I get that too...people making smart remarks or looking at me funny when I take the extra time to get healthy foods. I ignore it because I know I'm doing what's best for me. Obviously I know what works for me since I lost 55lbs in 4 months and therefore will continue to do what I do. :-) I know some people make the comments because they lack the will to stay the course to get the desired results while others think I should be able to eat anything now because I've gotten to my goal. The latter don't realize its a lifestyle, this is the new me and so unfortunately, it will take me longer in the grocery store because I'm looking for the healthier options.

Now, there are others who either make healthier choices because they see me doing it, those who were already making healthy choices & smile every time they see me do it, and those that encourage me to order grilled fish & caesar salad while they order a philly cheesesteak. lol All of these people provide motivation (whether they intended to or not) for me to continue to do what I'm doing.

Seriously, at this point (as I'm sure you'll agree), there are just some things I no longer want anymore. I love the new me and I love knowing the choices I'm making help keep up the new me.

Here's to our new selves! emoticon

Btw, I saw your comment on a post. I have no idea which post that was though as I have a horrible memory. lol Could've been the one asking if your personality has changed as a result of your weight loss.
