2014 - All about the food!

I've been a member of Sparkpeople for almost 7 years. It took me a few years to really get into changing my outlook, my body and my life. 2010 was the year for me. I finally made the decision that enough was enough and I wanted to look and feel on the outside how I did on the inside. I remember the day I tried on a size 8 pair of jeans. I actually cried. 2014 - All about the food!

I finally made the decision that enough was enough and I wanted to look and feel on the outside how I did on the inside. I remember the day I tried on a size 8 pair of jeans. I actually cried. I've never been really great when it comes to food and trying new recipes. In fact, I sort of hate cooking. When I was a kid I thought eating was a waste of time. I never had a problem with portions, just what I chose to eat. That is why this year I am focusing on the food. I've decided that I am eliminating all processed foods. It might take a little time but I will do it.

I'm 45, married with 3 kids, 2 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons. We don't have pets anymore and it's very sad but we are doing ok.

Hey, gurl! :-D It's been forever and a day since we talked. Send me an e-mail or stop by my page and let me know how you are doing. I went back and read some of your blogs to get a feel where you are at with trying to eat healthier. Glad you are in maintenance. Me? I am finally starting to lose what I had gained back. I'm dealing with carb-bingeing issues. Also, I had a procedure done on my right foot in March to remove three Morton's neuromas and recovery has been brutal. I'm still doing physical therapy for that. If you read the "more about Sage" on my page, it will fill you in. I gained back almost all my weight, but at least I am in the process of losing it once again. For awhile, I was ST-ing. Probably going to do that after I do some cardio DVDs today. Everything depends on my foot, but I should be able to still ST. Anyway, I hope you and your DH are doing well. You're back in Wisconsin if I'm not mistaken, right? Take care, babe. xoxo, Sage
