Well, a bit about me...
I first joined SP in June '08. After not really following the program and therefore being unsuccessful, I joined WW and attempted to lose weight. 150 lbs was my starting weight.

Not only did I fail to lose on WW, I actually gained. Some have a lot of success with it, but I obviously didn't.

With work stress, my weight went up over almost a year to 162.5 lbs!!! This was shocking to me when I finally stepped on the scale and realized it. ...

This spurred me into action. I came back to SP and started my new lifestyle.

Things have really changed. I'm bipolar, and dropped all but 2 of my meds (I used to take an amazing 5 meds a day for bipolar disorder!) since beginning my new lifestyle. Everything is looking up. Fitness and eating right are now habits that I will keep forever.

I've lost almost 20 lbs, and I'm now working on the other half of the journey. I'm anticipating that I'll be done by New Year's. That's my resolution in advance, and I hope I can do it! I want to be done losing this miserable weight by New Year's Eve.

My Goals:
I want to get my measurements back to 32-28-34 and not the 34-30-36 they are now!!!

I've lost almost 19 lbs so far on SP, and I've gotten my BMI into the Normal range.

I want to kick my own butt from years ago and beat my old Personal Records in running!!! Those are some pretty good times, but I'm even more inspired by that!

My Program:
I'm active. I exercise for about an hour a day. I cut alcohol out of my diet and try to limit stuff I know is high in calories. So far, I haven't followed the SP menus.

I just started tracking my diet and exercise, and I'm amazed at what I didn't know. Armed with this info, I'll be able to lose the rest of this weight.

Hi, thank you for inviting me to your page. I totally understand about the no need for some meds. I dropped my meds by the roadside ever since I started running! What a savings and I have never felt better about myself. Wishing you the best of success here on your Spark journey!
