Morgan & Amy's Sparkpage
I've been on here awhile and I love it. I'm a retired female and couldn't get my name accepted as my ID so I used my cat Morgans. She's my faithful companion. I want to be healthy and feel good. I had lapband surgery March 26, 2009. I use the trackers daily and have increased my activity a lot. I joined the Senior Center and participate in the chorus and putting on Radio Plays. I really enjoy going to theatre plays with the group. I joined the YMCA but haven't really made it there much. ...

My Goals:
My goal is to be positive while learning a new lifestyle of eating and exercise. I want to participate in things I wasn't able to when I got so heavy I couldn't get around or fit in chairs.
My Program:
I had lapband surgery 3/26/09 after 6 months of nutrition visits and tracking to lose 15 (I lost 25) pounds they required. After surgery there were very strict foods I could eat. I'm supposed to have 2-3 meals of 1/2 cups. After Joining SparkPeople I'm adjusting things a little because I'd stopped losing much at all (2 pounds one month). I now am trying to respond to one item in the teams I belong to daily.

I have 4 daughters, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. I live in down town St Paul, MN.

I'm 73 and love retirement. I'm an avid book reader, reading 4-5 a week depending on length. I love non-violent (LOL) mysteries like cosies, political suspense. and thrillers. I joined a Senior Center and sing in a chorus, go to plays, and put on Plays.
