My Goals:
My goals are to be a healthier person. This time around, I am going to try and focus more on how I feel and how I can improve rather than the numbers on the scale. I feel that, if I can be healthy and happy, then everything else will fall into place!

My Program:
Because of money, we haven't joined a gym yet. However, I now live in a fabulous area for being outside. We had to relocate to the mountains and we have hiking and biking trails minutes from our house! So my plan is 20 minutes everyday of some form of exercise. This should be simple...I have a doggie that needs walked...20 minutes can go by so fast!

Personal Information:
My new husband and I relocated to Steamboat Springs CO. I love it here! (Although I might change my mind come winter...lol) I am going to be teaching high school and I enjoy eating, watching tv, hiking, walking, biking, and just relaxing!

Other Information:
You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be.

I recently started the same type of weight traing program. Even though I last weighed 140, after a binge week, I still am in a size 6. It is weird because the way I binge I go up or down every other week. I am pro weights. I love the look...wish I could just loose this 10 lb fat layer!

Good for you thinking of planning your meals. I used to think it was too much like dieting, but then I thought, well, lots of slim people have to know ahead of time what to bring for lunch, and a lot of them probably plan at least in general what to buy when shopping for a week's groceries, so I did it for a long time. Now I just use my three plates, but I have a pretty good idea ahead of time what I'm going to have just from what's in my fridge and cabinets. I can still wing it pretty easily, if the need arises. emoticon

Lauren, do you know what the International Baccalaureate program is? For middle and high schoolers, the goal is for students to be able to earn college credit before they leave high school. I teach one class of English to seniors. Talk about spilling coffee. I spilled coffee on about 10 student papers that I had collected to submit to evaluators in another state. Other people laughed when I told them, but it was as close to crying as have come at work in 14 years. I hated having to tell kids what I did and that they had to reprint copies for me. But it's over now and the papers are ready to be mailed Tuesday morning... emoticon emoticon

Those are excellent goals... and I'm really impressed you get up at 5! I hope that means you are getting 8 hours of sleep though ;)
What do you do for work? If possible maybe you shouldn't keep snacks at your desk unless they are baby carrots or something, hehe...
I want to be at my goal weight by November! That's about 17 pounds, but I've never lost more than 5 per month so it might take me 3 months. I'm determined to work harder and track more carefully.

How do you want to keep each other accountable?!
