One life (choose your adventure)
If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won't, you most assuredly won't. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad. If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won't, you most assuredly won't. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad. We are all given this one life and it is up to us what we choose to do with it. There may be some things that happen to us that we do not choose, but we can choose our attitude in dealing with those things and we can choose what steps to take from there. When I was young I liked to read those "choose your own adventure" books where you could choose where the story goes next and each person reading the book gets a slightly different story. In my life I want to choose my adventure. In my psychology classes I recall learning about the importance of believing that you have the power to make choices to achieve a desired outcome. Somewhere since then I became discouraged and felt like no matter what adventure I chose, I would end up on the same page. I cognitively know the importance of believing I can achieve my goals, and I am fighting to keep that optimism and positive thinking alive and central. Staying positive and believing that I can reach my goals does not come natural for me. Therefore, I intend to keep these thoughts ever before my eyes and flood my spark page with positive, motivational and inspirational quotes.
