MoMo's No Munch A Bunch

3/19/15-I'm 54 and a MoMo (grandma) of 5 wonderful children. One is going to make me a Great MoMo in a few months. I like to paint by number, hike, swim, read, travel and play with my Grandchildren. I have used sparkpeople for a long time. Lost a lot of weight and kept it off for years, but I fell of the wagon again a couple years back and have not stopped the downward trend. I got my sister into this a few years back and we are trying to help each other get in better shape. I need to pull my head out of my #%% and make this work.

2015 - Starting fresh and new. Wiped out all my teams and friends ( I was not using them.) I want to start out small. One team and one friend and see if I can make it work before spreading my self thin and not doing anything.


2014 - I am going to start fresh.

2013-July 14
I went down the awful path of gaining almost all my weight back. I really need to re-focus my efforts on a healthy life style. So I am focusing on doing Spark Coach and doing every piece. Let's see how long this streak last.

2012-Sept.
Hi, It's been a while away from Sparkpeople, but now I'm back again. To try and lose the weight again.
I took a major nose dive off the deep end and now i need to swim my way to the top.
So here we go again Sparkpeople with Spark Coach.


2009-Will I fell off the wagon for too long, and only lost 17lbs, but that is a leap in the right direction. I promise to do better this year.

I'm 48 and looking for a couple of good buddies this year to get to know.
I want somepeople I can help and can help me.
Somepeople that can be support buddies for food or exercise or just friendship.
I need the little extra help.

I like to give goodies and to give goodies... I have to earn sparkpoints and to earn sparkpoints..... I have to track my food, fitness, post, huddle and read.
And it all can be fun, enlighting and free.

2008-I'm 40ish and needing to lose a good 80 lbs or more.
I did this diet last year and lost 35 lbs, but stopped and gained 20 back.
I'm back here hopefully to stay.
I've decided to go back to the Original Weight when I first started SparkPeople.
The first Time I started I weighed 215, this time started when I hit the 200 mark.
Just because I feel off the wagon for a while, does not mean I don't get the credit for what I lost in the first place.

Mom, the "tracker" you are speaking of does not record anything beyond 10. The old tracker allowed for more and it went on my Point page. So the new thing has me loose out two ways. I do not use the nutrition tracker because so many foods we have on Guam are not on SP.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I think having a video library is the way to go plus I do use Net Flix. I stick a 'new' movie in the DVD and walk on my treadmill most of the time anyway. What a huge waste of movie subscribing to TV. There is absolute no reception here without satellite but I can do with out it.
Our internet is too slow for watching anything on line like a lot of people do so we can't do streaming movies..and I can deal with getting a new DVD when I return the previous one.

I saw a comment about your fitbit not working, is it ok now? I had to get my base station replaced.
Plus how are you doing on Walk It Out? I've still got loads of things to click on , seems like the island never get finished!
