***2016 THE YEAR TO FIND BALANCE ***


****GOALS FOR 2016 ******

2015 was less than stellar for me. I was hoping it would be "MY YEAR" to hit maintenance. Instead I got HIT by life.. not that I'm the only one to go through trying times, it's just that I didn't handle the roller coaster very well. Instead of losing 36lbs I gained 16lbs, my body fat % went up and my muscle mass went down... this was NOT in my plans. I did manage to log into sparkpeople every single day ...

I did manage to log into sparkpeople every single day for a year ha ha that probably helped me not to gain double what I did, so I'm thankful for that!

I've done a ton of research and came up with a life plan that I think will help ME find that sweet spot for weight loss and over all good health. Now, I just need to work the plan, and when life throws me those curve balls, I'll be ready to hit back!!

I've decided my make my S-M-A-R-T goals smaller, more achievable, looking for a positive less stressful life. Looking for that Holy Grail of BALANCE!! THAT...is my goal for 2016!!**!!**

Thanks so much for commenting on my blogpost, "I'm 1/2 lb away from 50 lbs (but there's a bigger milestone I've already reached)." I'm glad there was something that I wrote that touched you. I'm so glad that you are trying again with your healthy journey--I tried over and over until this last time when it seemed to finally click. Hah! They are kinda expensive so I'm better off not treating them as a food group, lol. But dang they are tasty and the cream keeps me full for a long time...but they are pretty high carb...and high calorie! So I'll work on my veggies better this weekend and start official on Sunday ;0)

Love your background! We hit a record 80 degrees in Havre on Friday and today, Monday, my lilacs are budded and hanging close to the snow-covered ground! Isn't Spring in Montana just amazing?!!!
