I'm a mother of six kids ages 7-16, the youngest two are twins. If that doesn't keep me busy enough, I'm also a part-time pharmacist. The last two years I have been learning about how to properly treat my hypothyroidism from a patient lead movement called, "Stop the Thyroid Madness." I'm finally feeling like myself again, and am ready to start losing some of this baby weight I've gained. My husband and kids need me strong, so I can keep up with them. Ultimate goal: Lose 50 pounds by October 8, 2012 (18th wedding anniversary) Smaller goals: 1. Get below 190 Goal met 4/5/10 187.8 lbs 2. Get below 180 Goal met 6/28/10 179.4 lbs 3. Get below 170 4. Get below 160 5. Get below 150!!!

1. Low-carb dieting (works best for thyroid patients) 2. Weight machine 3. Elliptical 4. Walking/jogging 5. Bicycling (pulling one of the twins behind) 6. Kicking & swimming in our Endless pool.

My name is Chris and I live in a small town in Western Iowa. I love living in a small town. My husband, six kids and I enjoy exploring different bicycle trails. We also have an Endless pool that is fun and great exercise.
