I did this program 5 years ago and lost all the weight. Jump forward to the present and I had gained it all back! I was devastated! How had I let this happen? I had stopped using SparkPeople and was no longer exercising.

Three weeks ago I found my way back. I am so happy. I have lost 14 pounds and 10 inches! I feel fantastic. I am exercising 5 days per week. My energy is through the roof. My mood is phenomenal! I am sleeping 7-8 hours each night. I am well on my way to a healthy, new life. I am not dieting anymore. This is the way I choose to be for the rest of my life!

My Goals:
I am working on me. Not just the weight loss. That is a part of it but not all of it. I am working on becoming more positive, turning off the negative thinking and appreciating my life. I write daily 5 things I am grateful for.


My Program:
I do cardio 5 days a week. I am doing Leslie Sansone's 5-Day Slim Down. It rocks!

I also do strength training 2 times/week.

My diet is full of complex carbs, plant oils, good proteins, and plenty of fruits & veggies. My new mantra is "Eat the Rainbow".

I am keeping positive.

I am taking my vitamins!!

I am keeping a daily food & personal journal.



Personal Information:
It has taken me 42 years to finally realize I am not just the sum of my past. I am who I make me.

I am married to a wonderful man named Tom. We have been married 20+ years and have 2 grown children in college. They are a great joy to me. I am very proud of both of them.
