I am married to my very best friend in the world, Randy, and a mother of a beautiful little girl, Winnie & a little boy who has angel wings. We're working on becoming adoptive parents currently.

I work as the Executive Assistant at a Chamber of Commerce.

I enjoy anything that involves creativity (acting, singing, writing), the outdoors, and the internet.

My Journey: In 2010 I realized I seriously needed to start taking off the pounds and I started Sparkpeople. I did GREAT on my first try but fell off the wagon after some surgery.

As you can see, I've tried getting back on track a few times since then only to fall off again.

Recently I lost a pregnancy and fell into a depression before finally recommitting to my good health. So, I'm back for another try so -- here's to never giving up on better health!

Hi, I like to welcome you to Tips for Writing and Weight Loss.
If you want to lose weight you need to cut your calories in half.
You need to eat on a smaller plate and only have a deck of cards for protein, and fill up on veggies. I have written two blogs about losing weight. I have been there. I was a size 20 at one time and in plus sizes. Now, I am heading towards a size l2 and in some cothes, by different mfgs companies I can get into a l2. It feels good to get out of the plus sizes and back in normal.
You can do it. We have a health section here you can list your weight loss, along with others who are trying to lose. We have posts telling you how. We are here to help, either in writing or weight loss. All you need to do is ask. Come join us and lose weight with us.
