I am a wife and mother of 3 girls. I have a full time job that is more like overtime all the time. I have trouble finding time to do anything but work and come home and work some more. No time for myself. So I am here trying to find ways to lose the weight and find a way to take care of myself. I am also trying to quit smoking so I am not the most friendly person in the world right now. I am trying to do all the things I need to do to accomplish this goal.

My goals are to lose 30 lbs, quit smoking and take care of myself for a change

My Program:
I am doing cardio and strength training 3 times a week and we have a team at work that does things like walking, bike rides, bowling, etc. once a week.

Thank you for the positive words and welcome to the journey. I have come a ways since my size 20 pants. It is hard to believe I am whining that my 12's are tight, but I want to be healthy and right now I am not. I am in a similar boat as yours, always doing something, but never for myself. It is hard to grasp, but if we take care of ourselves first, everyone around us benefits. Just hang in there, give 5-10 minutes to yourself a day, baby steps!
