Thanks so much for stopping by my page and reading my info.

For the most part of my life I have not had a weight problem. The most I had ever gotten up to was 160lbs. Most of the time I weighed in the 140's.

In 2003 I started having health issues and the weight started jumping on. By November 2012, I weighed in at 299 in my nightshirt. One by one my health issues got me. It was harder and harder to walk because I was in so much pain. I had to leave my job earlier than I had planned.

I had given up and had thoughts of going to a nursing home. Then one day I decided to not give up. I went to Doctor after Doctor, pleading with anyone that would listen, to please help me. Most said I was having problems because I was getting older.

Please don't give me the age card. I KNEW there was something wrong with me. And, I believed in my heart that someone could help me.

I kept on and on and told them (the Doctors), that there is something wrong with me. I begged them to please fix me. I had been to 12 different Doctors. I finally found one that realized right away that I did have a problem.

I am not totally fixed, but I am currently doing physical therapy prescribed by Orthopedic Doc. I am taking prescribed vitamin D and taking Thyroid med.

I am down 36.8 lbs. since November of 2012. Today is Monday, April 20, 2015.

I knew if I would put my mind to this, some more of the weight would come off. It is a slow process, but I do not want to give up.

I can use all of the encouragement I can get. Thanks.

I remember when I was growing up, I never thought I would weigh as much as I do now. I move around as much as I am able. I am getting better. I don't want to give up. God is in control.

Oh what a beautiful day today was! It was warm and sunny, plus everything is now started to form buds. The birds were singing and my springs flowers are in full bloom--that ideal Spring day. A day that made me feel so grateful for all the beauty around me!

Omg. Those frozen grape jello things sound so ooo good! We love frozen grapes, but with the jello topping, yummy! I'm getting grapes tomorrow.

Thank again, for stopping by the blog. Friendship comes in all sizes & shapes. My friend, I went to the movie & dinner with (yesterday) is 83 & a widow. We've been friends for 15 years. Love her!
My Sparks Friends, like you, have become very important, as well.
