Thanks so much for stopping by my page and reading my info.

For the most part of my life I have not had a weight problem. The most I had ever gotten up to was 160lbs. Most of the time I weighed in the 140's.

Thanks so much for stopping by my page and reading my info.

For the most part of my life I have not had a weight problem. The most I had ever gotten up to was 160lbs. Most of the time I weighed in the 140's.

In 2003 I started having health issues and the weight started jumping on. By November 2012, I weighed in at 299 in my nightshirt. One by one my health issues got me. It was harder and harder to walk because I was in so much pain. I had to leave my job earlier than I had planned.

I had given up and had thoughts of going to a nursing home. Then one day I decided to not give up. I went to Doctor after Doctor, pleading with anyone that would listen, to please help me. Most said I was having problems because I was getting older.

Please don't give me the age card. I KNEW there was something wrong with me. And, I believed in my heart that someone could help me.

I kept on and on and told them (the Doctors), that there is something wrong with me. I begged them to please fix me. I had been to 12 different Doctors. I finally found one that realized right away that I did have a problem.

I am not totally fixed, but I am currently doing physical therapy prescribed by Orthopedic Doc. I am taking prescribed vitamin D and taking Thyroid med.

I am down 35.4 lbs. since November of 2012. Today is Monday, February 16, 2015.

I knew if I would put my mind to this, some more of the weight would come off. It is a slow process, but I do not want to give up.

I can use all of the encouragement I can get. Thanks.

Personal Information:
I remember when I was growing up, I never thought I would weigh as much as I do now. I move around as much as I am able. I am getting better. I don't want to give up. God is in control.

Did you know that "mon" in Monday is French for mine? In case you weren't aware, that makes Monday, "My Day". That sure makes the start of this week very special. So have a Marvelous Monday....make it a great "My" day.

Hello, I am adding you as a spark pal. Your story really touched my heart. I am so glad you did not give up and finally got to a doctor who would listen to you. Physical therapy really helps me too, so I am glad you are on that path.

I too had to stop working before I planned it. It is rough going through unanticipated life changes, but you are a survivor!

For this he was sentenced to death and later named for the holiday celebrating lovers. But his act of love was his act of service to the soldiers.

February 14th is the day of love, and there's nothing more important all year. So, use it to give love, show gratitude and appreciation to all those people who've touched your life this year -- whether it's giving them a gift, a hug or a simple call. Bring some you made especially for your perpetually single best friend, call your grandparent you've been meaning to talk to, make some homemade soup or cookies for that person who did you that big favor this year. Honestly, it will make you feel incredible! And that's really what the day is about: spreading love, being of service, expressing your positive emotions and feeling good. Valentine's Day is about showing love. So take the commercialism out and put the true meaning into the day,
