    emoticon I'm here & I'm not. emoticon 2016 has been a year of transformation. I'm no longer obsessed with weight loss. I'm just working on achieving optimal health. By getting in lots of daily practice of everything I learned in 2015. From listening to podcasts like EB's Primal Potential, reading blogs like Mark's daily apple and Whole9Life and reading books... The Wahl's Protocol was my favorite.

    I just recently watched an interesting YouTube lecture by Dr. Jason Fung on what causes weight gain and how calories in calories out is a lie & calorie counting and restrictions actually cause our metabolisms to slow down making it easier to gain weight.

    So after watching that my husband and I are actually experimenting with intermittent fasting. It's an extension of living a primal/paleo lifestyle. I'll let you know how it goes. emoticon
    What's new on the fitness front for you? I just started working out regularly again as opposed to just walking. Hoping to be ready to feel amazing in a bikini by 4th of July. emoticon

    emoticon What's been going on with you? Have you fallen in love with any new fitness programs? How's life treating you? Last year was rough, it sucks getting old emoticon But I'm happy to still be here. The best three lessons I learned last year were 1. don't skip or skimp on the VItamin D. 2. eating 6-9 servings of veggies EVERY day really does make a difference. 3. a foam roller can be a body's best friend. Wishing you a fabulous new year and that you end each new day feeling stronger than yesterday. emoticon emoticon

    Hi, great you're back and making a good start to the year!
    I've been too busy to get much exercise in, unfortunately because we had some sick animals, but things are stabilizing and I'm starting up well again in the New Year!
