I am doing this!

I've been on SP for quite some time now and it's really helped me in my success. I've lost 60 pounds so far and am getting closer and closer to my goal weight. Right now that goal is just a number on the scale though, so I'm just focused on getting to a weight I feel happy and healthy at.

Thank you so much for the kind words on my blog. I knew exactly what you meant, it isn't an "I'm glad you were struggling", but it is nice to know we are not alone. That it isn't always so easy all the time! When I joined Spark, and found people that lost 50, 80, 100+ pounds, I assumed they were perfect. I figured they never struggled, they put their mind to it and they just did it. I figured I wasn't perfect so I could never be like then. It took me a long time to realize they are human too... they mess up, over eat, gain back 10 pounds, but they were consistent and never gave up. I wanted to share my journey, all of it... not just the good. I want to be someone who lost 100+ pounds one day, and I want people to know that I had struggles along the way. We all do. emoticon

“The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it.
Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing.
People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful. "

emoticon I KNEW someone was going to call me on not saying "Goal 3" was met in my Mud Run Story blog! You get the prize for being the first to say it out loud. Seriously, I figured the story itself has it written all over it! emoticon
