Welcome to my page!
As you might guess from my "name" I am a mime. I was a mime artist for over 30 years but in recent years slowed down due to an injury, and rediscovered another love: writing. Currently I'm writing a memoir... thirty eight years ago, "inter-racial" marriage was not popular. (it still isn't)
We have two children & seven grandchildren. Everyone is an artist ...singers, actors, writers, dancers...though don't know about the youngest one who was born July (2013). ...

We have two children & seven grandchildren. Everyone is an artist ...singers, actors, writers, dancers...though don't know about the youngest one who was born July (2013). My son is a playwright and winner of this year's Kennedy Center's Lorraine Hansberry Award. My daughter finished her book & is looking for an agent. I am so happy in my life...want to keep enjoying it. Thus exercise and mindful eating.

"Many things are simply not going to happen with just one, or three, or even a dozen attempts. Yet anything becomes possible with enough persistence.
Keep going, and allow your efforts to build upon one another. Keep going, and transform the disappointments into achievements.
You have what it takes to keep going, because all it ever takes is just one more step forward.
Keep going, and work your way steadily to the richest rewards you can imagine."
-- Ralph Marston

Welcome back to the FMD eating plan. I feel so much better when I eat this way, it's amazing. My arthritis is not a problem when I'm eating right. My son gave me a fit bit for Christmas so I'm learning about that. Lets make our new starts successful emoticon !!

Hey, I wanted to thank you for introducing me to Spark, but I am going to close my page. I haven't been here since I got sick in February, still searching for my magic bean, I guess. Have fun, and see you around.

Phyllis

"Sometimes victory seems so far away because we measure it only by the goal. And end goals can seem overwhelmingly huge, daunting, and just plain hard to reach. But if we start measuring our victories by the smaller choices we make each day, victory won't seem so impossible.....
It's amazing the chain reaction that can start in your life with just one good choice.
Big things are built one brick at a time.
Victories are achieved one choice at a time.
A life well lived is chosen one day at a time.
Oh sweet friend, you are closer than you think to victory!"

Be your own hero, one choice and one step at a time! You might not see visible signs of progress right away, but as long as you keep doing your best, you will make progress and you will be victorious! I'm rooting for you! Remember, you're worth your best effort!
Hugs,
Pixie

"It is rewarding to find someone you like, but it is essential to like yourself.
It is quickening to recognize that someone is a good and decent human being, but it is indispensable to view yourself as acceptable.
It is a delight to discover people who are worthy of respect and admiration and love, but it is vital to believe yourself deserving of these things."

"My invitation to you is to begin living every moment as though you are miraculous and deserve to live an extraordinary life.
Fake it if you must and keep faking it until it’s real to you. The gift you will be giving yourself is a lifelong journey of discovery, one that is infinite and infinitely rewarding. Begin the journey. Today. This moment. Now."
-Robert White
