Hello. My name is Michelle and I am 43, married for 12 years and together we have 6 kids. My baby girl turned 18 and is now moved out so we now only have a 4 yr old left in the house. There are days still that I slip up but that is normal. Just move on and try not to do the same thing again. No matter how many times I start again I'm NOT giving up. Here's to never giving up and always moving forward!!

Found a water bottle that I like. My workouts consist of walks outside (when it's warm....I'm so not a winter person) and my Wii/Xbox Exercise games. My routines were getting boring however so I added Cathe Friedrich's step DVD's. LOVE THEM!!!

It is now June 1, 2011 and my weight is up again from last year. I feel like I just stood still all winter. I was a bit dissapointed when it was time to try on those shorts that didn't quite fit last summer but not enough to go out and buy new ones and they still fit me the way they did last year. Time to change that. I can do this. It isn't rocket science. One step at a time towards my goals. Happy days ahead!! Gotta get movin and today is the day!!

6/24/11 UPDATE: Pregnant at 37!! No wonder I have been up and down with my weight. Alls ok now and my stress has come down considerably now that alot of people know now. I will have to have another CSection so I will get to choose the babys bday!! :0) Aiming for end of Jan. Needless to say I have changed my plans AGAIN and am now going to concentrate on gaining only the min weight I need to and pay attention to what I'm eating. I've been tracking my food yet now to move onto the exercising. I'm so tired I need to make myself get outside and get moving.

Currently taking a break from weight loss still tracking and trying to get in my walks. I am put on minimal duty until further notice.

I had a wonderful healthy baby boy on 1/31/12!! I'm so blessed and I can't believe how much in love I am with him already. I'm healing well and feeling better every day. I am planning to start working out very lightly as soon as the doctor gives me the ok.

I have my 6 week checkup on Monday. I'm sure I'll get the ok to workout again. I feel great and my csection looks good to me. I can even lay on my tummy now. I've already started to add it to my days. It is alot harder to do so now that my little man is here but I'm determined to get back into shape. I want to be able to go out and play with him when he is up and running. My goal for the next 8 weeks are to get back into the swing of things. I will get atleast 10 min of exercise in 5 days a week. I can do this!!

Enough is enough. How many times do I need to fall off the wagon before getting that awww haa moment? I feel like I recently got that moment where I had enough of not fitting in my clothes and feeling frumpy all the time. I feel uncomfortable in my work clothes so much that when I get home I go up and change into sweats or shorts (elastic bads) and a XL tshirt.

WOW I really see I went crazy after my weigh in early March. I gained weight and didn't hold myself accountable. I didn't think I was that far off. After my son was born and I was able to start working out I found myself procrastinating and choosing to play with him rather than taking care of me again. It was alot easier to say I don't see him enough and skip my workouts. Now that I have put my brain in again I've been working hard to reach mini goals. As long as I see a loss I'm happy. Sneaked a peek today and its still going down. Fingers crossed to see the 150s again Sat. No more excuses I'm getting it done now and am feeling better about myself while I'm at it.

Slacking again. I see it but do I do anything about it.....NOPE!! I am today! Quit being so lazy lady!!

Struggling with juggling college classes, house work, baby, and teenager while being unemployed and paying bills on time. It's a bit stressful but I can do it. Classes started last week of August and are over first week of December so I'm over 1/2 way done with this semester and I've only gained back a pound. I am thrilled that eating right and working out has showed my daughter that she can also. She has lost atleast 15# now and is looking and feeling much better about herself. YAY!!! My goal for myself is to loose 5# by the end of the year. Slow and steady...I'm almost to my goal weight and I need to do it right so I don't gain it back. I also need to tone up a bit more.

It's time for me to get a workout routine again before my classes start again. I find it easier to get the workout in early then I won't have to worry about it. Here's to a new start. I even get to make juices now. My Anna and hubby bought me a juicer for Christmas!! I LOVE IT!! Mainly fruit juices but I'm looking into different veggie ones. Started again by getting back to basics. I am starting slow and easy and adding to it as I go. Now I'm working out to my wii games and that is keeping me going. So excited to see myself at my goal weight this year!! I can and will do it!! Starting a 5% Winter Challenge to help me get there.

I have finally finished school on Monday. Now just waiting for my Ethics grade. I am going out to eat for my graduation instead of walking up to get my degree. I did it once already so I don't want to again. Instead I'm getting the family all together for dinner. I officially have an Associated Degree in Office Management, Associate Degree in Applied Science Technology, and a certificate in Medical Billing. Now for the next part of my journey in my life. Starting my weight loss again tomorrow. So far I have been able to stay under 150 so that is a WIN in itself. I'm doing something right. Ready set go.......

Today I am starting again. So today is my Day 1 (again)....I have to fix my scale upstairs somehow it changed from lbs to kg so I need to fix that but I am determined to get in a workout of some sort today before heading out to my nephews 16th bday at Atwood Lake. My plan is to eat a couple pcs of fruit before heading out. Here's to a great day and a great new start to me!!

Looks like I have hovered at 147-150 now for a few years. I made it down to 144# before finding out I was pregnant and can't seem to get past the 147-150#. I find myself wanting to but then letting life get in the way and stopping. Every year we have a health assessment we have to do to keep hubbies health insurance down and this year I was comparing. Every year we do this assessment I have weighed 147ish LOL I have finally gotten my cholesterol down though. It is at the high end but not in the red anymore. YAY!! A plus!! Now to get my butt back at it and quit being so darn lazy. I hear my brain and I see myself sitting on the sofa but yet I don't do it. Am I afraid? Is that why I don't do more? I just don't know. I am super happy though that the weather is nicer now. I can get outside more with the little one and move more. I am currently planning a graduation for my daughter and that is a sad and exciting time. I'm not looking forward to her leaving me. Here's to a new type of journey that I will be going on. I won't be an empty nester persay because I still have a 4 yr old with me. It will be weird and different with out her too. I read in a weight watchers magazine recently "Until you make the decision in your heart to get healthy, it won't happen - Brianna Engebratsen" Is it in my heart yet? By golly Gee I am going to find out.
