Hi Mary! Thanks for your comment on my blog " The time has come". I know what it's like not to feel supported. I think that is why I like being alone. I am totally responsible for my own feelings of being safe/ or supported. I choose my friends (circle of influence) by that feeling of "do I feel safe with this person?".
Aren't we blessed with our SP friends?? Have a great day!

It was built 1913... something I forgot to mention in my 13 blog actually!

We have a copy of a wonderful document that came with the house originally, with things you are allowed or not allowed to do with the property, such as we are allowed to keep a (singular) pig, but not allowed to slaughter on our property!

Also not allowed to run a gambling and drinking house!

It was in a horrible state when we bought it, we got it quite cheap for the area as it needed a lot of refurbishment and modernising like actually having heating upstairs. Loads of nasty 1960's and 70's "improvements" mean a lot of old features had been lost, we also have replaced the stained glass doors in the hall, which had been got rid of at some point and these nasty nasty rippled industrial glass doors instead. We had to unboard the bannisters, which again have been sadly damaged a lot. We have a beautiful new newel top to fix back on where they have cut it off.

It's going to be lovely when we finally get there, but with me taking care of my little girl, and my husband having a high commitment and deadline based job, we struggle to find the time to actually do things.
