I'm finally ready to do this
I have been struggling to lose 20 pounds for the last 20 years! I know, it's not a lot of weight, but as a fitness enthusiast who worked as a group fitness instructor for 10 years, it was always a hindrance. Now I am ready to be a healthy food enthusiast as well. I also realize that exercise alone can't do it for me. I have to eat well to achieve my goal.

My Goals:
First - to drastically reduce the amount of empty calories I consume. Second - to eat clean and track the nutrients of the food I eat. Third - to lose 15 pounds.
My Program:
I am cooking on the weekends so I can bring my breakfast and lunch to work. I am tracking religiously to get a more accurate account of the calories I am consuming, and which foods contains the nutrients I'm lacking in my diet. I am limiting the amount of sugar and sodium I have by avoiding fast foods and desserts whenever possible.
