No more excuses. I joined Sparkpeople back in 2007 and for a while I was good tracking every thing I ate and all my workouts.

My husband became ill in October 08 and I became his full time caregiver and still worked full time and mom of a 14 and 4 year old.

I put my fitness goals on hold and focused on my family.

I had my 34th birthday in December 09 and realized I need to get back on track for me. I have maintained my weight for awhile but now the scale keeps taunting me in the 180 range. It slaps me in the face every morning.

I have decided to recommit to my fitness goals and reach my goal weight of 130-120lbs by my 35th birthday.

I hope that with the help of Spark People and my Spark friends I can get back on track and finally see results.

As a fortune cookie once read " The mightiest oak in the forest is just a little nut who held his ground."

My Goals:
To loose at least 60 more pounds.

After reading the SPARK I determined I needed a mini goal that was more obtainable - so my first specific goal is
to Lose 10 lbs by 4/10 or 8 inches overall.

To loose my excess weight, decrease my BMI to a healthy range and have more energy and become more healthy so I can enjoy my family and life.

To gain energy and the confidence to walk into a room and know that I look as good as I feel.

Complete Burn Phase by 3/2/10 - DONE 1lb lost and 8.9 inches gone!
Complete PUSH Phase by 4/1/10.
Complete Lean Phase by 5/1/10.
Move onto Lean for Life Phase or repeat Burn Phase by 5/2/10

Healthy eating, portion control

Currently doing the ChaLean Extreme program and loving it!

Personal Information:
I am a 34 year old mother of two, happily married who works full-time. I am trying to find time for me to exercise and stay on track. I recently sparked my husband and he is trying to get back into shape and better health.

Other Information:
I love my family and continue to find a love in exercise. I am determined to become thinner and healthier!!

    Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. It helps so much to hear from someone that can relate to what I am saying.
    I love the rocker quote! Makes a lot of sense. It's true no one will look out for me. My dad hasn't been here and he told me he would always be there. Now I do have to remove every though from the past and focus on me now and my family and taking care of us.
