My Goals:
My goal is to live a healthy lifestyle by

1. Only eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm full/satisfied.

2. Secondary to #1, eat within the suggested calorie range 6 days a week.

2. Be active for 30 minutes every day, whether it be jumping on the trampoline with my kids or walking/jogging.

3. Be at my goal weight when my body gets there based on goal #1 and #2.

My Program:
I am willing to do whatever it takes to get my personal health where I want it to be...well, as long as it's something I can continue to do on an ongoing basis.

I have recently realized that it's not about doing anything, other than listening to what my body is telling me. It has taken a good 2 months for me to truly be able to listen and HEAR what it's telling me.

Personal Information:
I leave in Eastern Washington, the desert part of this state. I have been happily married for 19 years and have 3 lovely children, 10, 8 and 4. I work full-time doing .NET programming for business applications for a large company in our area (doesn't help the weight loss to sit at a desk all day) and am interested in making friends on SP to help me and them to achieve our goals.

Other Information:
It was for freedom that Christ set us free...and where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. If we abide in his spirit we ARE free.

Read you page because I saw you are a runner. I am relatively new to running and enjoy reading other runners’ pages. I learn a lot from people like you. Your story and your achievements are very impressive.

My mom did join, but I don't think she created a spark page. She tracked for a few days she said and was shocked to see she was off balance between carbs, protein and fat (interesting same as me high on protein and fat - if left to my own devices) and wasn't eating enough calories. So...I don't know if she has continued, I'm trying not to bug her about it. It would be cool if you called her again, I know she was so encouraged by it the last time. Sometimes people need someone unbiased to encourage them in certain areas, you know?

We had a wonderful weekend. We golfed and did some landscaping and I planted several new plants in the side flower bed. We stayed active all weekend and had a nice steak on the grill yesterday.
We are coming home to the Tri Cities on Wednesday of this week. Hubby has some meetings in Richland and I am going to my hair stylist for a trim and color highlights.
I posted a blog last week with photos of me since I had not had any current photos on my page. It has been a year and a half ago that I reached my goal and I am happy to say I am staying right on target.
Have you heard from you Mom lately I have been so busy I have not gotten a chance to call her after the first time. I was wondering if she joined Sparks and if she like the program.
Well I am remodeling my kitchen here on the west side with all new stainless appliances and I ordered a custom stainless steel counter top for the center island as I am taking out the wall oven and putting a slide in unit into the island, the fridge is here the built in microwave is here and today the new dishwasher will be installed I still have two week out on getting the new range and counter top, so a lot of things to keep me busy that is for sure.
