I first signed up on Sparkpeople on October 2007. I started back on Sparkpeople January 2010. I have been working on shedding weight for years. in 2007 I dropped down to 162 lbs (from 180s) but then received a diagnosis of Celiac Disease and had to make major changes to my diet. After that I gained 20+ lbs in a few months. Since then I keep shedding the same 5-10 lbs only to gain them back plus more. Hopefully I can get myself back on track. To do this I need to journal my foods and get my eating under control! It is now 2016 and I am still struggling with my weight, my food control and having a more difficult time getting to the gym. To be successful this year I will need to get my eating under control, get to the gym on a more regular basis. I also need to walk my dogs twice a day for stress relief. I am looking forward to the support and to making 2016 a successful year!

My Goals:
To stay consistent with tracking my foods and exercise.

March Goals
Goal 1 - To stay in my calorie range (1200-1550) daily
Goal 2 - To get up 3 mornings a week and exercise for at least 15 mins.

My Program:
I go to the gym most nights after work.

I have joined a Slim Down Challenge at my gym that started Jan 18/2010. It is 2 bootcamps a week plus one class on Saturday. I will also work on cardio and weights on my own.

I also started Taekwondo January 2010 - I will be testing for my first belt Feb 21st.

Personal Information:
I am married and have been for over 20 years, we have no kids. We do however, have 2 dogs.

Other Information:
I have two dogs that I take for a walk at least once to twice a day during the week. My husband takes them out on weekends.

    They have changed the way a leader can contact members of the team. If you are not active on a team for 30 days are more a team leader can not send you a spark goodie I do not think you will receive messages from the team either but I have not received a confirmation on that. However, the changes will make it less and less likely I will be able to communicate with less active members. At this point we only have 6 active members 4 of which have visited the team because I was able to contact them recently. I feel these changes have thrown up one more obstacle to helping build the team. I will see how things go over the next couple of weeks but I may end up ending the team in the event the members fall to 2 or less active members. Thanks for your continued support.
