It's nice you're pushing along. I exercised myself into hunger every day. I was eating terrible and working out all the time. This time I don't have a choice but to get my diet under control and wait until I can really exercise.

I hope you lose a ton this week.

Thank you for your interest. Its been a real struggle. I have been down 30 lbs ,but I wind up putting it back on. I track my meals and usually come in under the max limit, sometimes under the minimum.. I walk at least 5000 steps a day every day. I have gone down at least 2 inches on my waist. I hit the gym 3 days a week. I do change my exercises each of the 3 days.

When was the last time you updated your web page and tracked your weight loss/updated your ticker? I find it hard to believe that you'e been a faithful Sparker for over 1 1/2 years and have only lost 20 pounds...probably closer to 25+ pounds of fat while adding 5+ pounds of muscle.

I'd love to see what you have actually accomplished. emoticon

Reviewed several of your blogs going back to the last page. Wondering if you "cycle" your exercises and change up your routines? Do you do "push" exercises on day 1 and "pull" on day 2 with day 3 as rest or another form of alternating? Do you do cardio on your "rest" days?

Hello Sir, I am one of the co-leaders of a team 100+ Pounds to lose in a year.

I have also been struggling with losing weight for the past four months.
Just this week, I've tried something that has helped me to lose 2 pounds this week: fasting.

What I mean by fasting? No meat, only a bowl of raw romaine lettuce/chopped raw carrots plus many cups of water for a meal/snack/stave off hunger.

I've read from some other male body builders' (I research both male/as well as female fitness magazines for metabolism advice) advice saying that they try fasting every once in awhile to help burn/lose fat.

I've also abstained from coffee (which I often have with a lot of milk/creamer) for a few days.

This is all without me doing any exercise and not going to the gym.
I've been to the gym on and off for so many months, and now, with the fasting (raw veggie/water for a meal or so diet) I've found that I'm able to lose a pound or two.

I'd suggest if you'd consider trying this to help your diet as you go along with your gym routine. For the past few days I've just been drinking water and tea, also.

You say you need a diet plan that works well I'd suggest taking a good look at what you are eating, just how much you are eating. Actually measuring our food is a huge eye opener. The other thing I'd suggest that is helping me and DH lately is carb back loading - breakfast/lunch carbs are from meat and veggies we then add carbs - bread, potatoes, pasta, rice to dinner but small amounts that way the body has to burn stored carbs/fat for energy.
