A new beginning

Hi. My name is Barb and I'm on the journey of a lifetime. I want and need to get healthier. In order to do that I have a lot of weight to lose, which means I need to eat healthier and get a move on it! I need to focus on fitness. I have the power to change my life around, and I intend to do just that.

I am still employed but as of January 2016 only part time. I have many interests - besides my family and my church - which include reading and art. I love to draw, paint, ...

I love to draw, paint, colored pencils, water color pencils, water colors - you name it. I'm not professing to be a great artist. I'm merely telling you about a passion I have and a fun, expensive!, hobby that I have.

I need help on this journey. I have taken part in the 5% Challenges for over a year now - spring, summer, fall and winter. If you haven't tried one of the 5% challenges, I encourage you to do so.
