Well, as stubborn as I am, I have finally had to admit that I can't eat whatever I want without consequences. Of course I've known this, but I just refused to acknowledge it. I ate healthy foods, lots of lean meats, whole grains and veggies, low fat, fat free, sugar free, but, I also ate junk! I liked my piled high burgers and fries and my cakes, cookies and ice cream. Well a long hard look at my swollen, burning legs and fingers and a long hard search through my closet for clothes that fit, brought me to the realization that I've eaten myself into someone I did not even recognize. Well, I'm determined to find her again! She's in there, for a long time I was looking at her while the reflection of some strange "large" lady was looking back at me. Now, my eyes are wide open and I can't believe what I allowed to happen! That's okay, I'm on a mission and it's a lifelong one. I will be fit!

My Goals:
My goals are to lose weight and then maintain the weight loss while living a healthy lifestyle.


My Program:
I chose the Atkins plan because I had great success with it years ago. I treated it as a diet before so when I lost what I wanted to lose, I left the plan behind little by little. At the time I was losing for a specific reason so when the reason was past me so was the plan. I know better now. I now realize that it's a lifestyle and I have to stick with it and that's fine. I enjoy working the plan.
