ready for a healthy life

I have struggled with my weight all my life though things turned for the worse after pregnancies at 35 and 38, since then its been all down hill. i lose 30 pounds and gain back 40, repeatedly.
During the last year my parents moved near by and are both handicapped and I lost my job of 26 years. Needless to say both events have furthered my weight gain contributed to my chronic depression.

Current Status:
MARIANNE9855 Still struggling to get through a whole day. The midnight eating is killing me. I eat when I can't sleep😥

My Goals:
To increase my stamina and physical abilities.

To not get winded or tired when engaging in normal activities.

To fit in chairs everywhere I go.

To be able to fit in plus sizes in department stores and not have to order all my clothes online or from catalogs

My Program:
I am going to Weight Watchers but I actually track my food using the food trackers on Spark People

Ride the exercise bike every day.
Begin walking when the weather gets good and it stays light longer.
Park increasingly farther away in parking lots

Follow a more vegetarian diet.
Eat at least 6 fruits and vegetables every day

You got this! I started over again in June after gaining 30 lbs back, and I'm feeling better, but I had to really talk myself through it in the beginning. Try to look at it as the other times were just practice, and now you have learned what didn't work for you, but this time you are wiser! Give yourself a lot of credit for trying again, it is a brave thing to do! You go!

I'm glad to see your still around. :) I do miss our conversations and everything. When you get stressed out from work and need someone to talk to, feel free to email me. Hi Marianne: just thought I'd say hello and check in with you... busy summer and now cooler weather... I've managed to "only" gain 3 pounds without really paying 100% attention. I'm back on track and recently started a walk/jog routine.. lol. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
