Losing Weight Is My New Way of Life!

After gaining weight over the years, especially during and after menopause, I began to wonder if I would ever lose weight and keep it off. To my happy amazement, I learned what it takes to lose weight and keep it off. It isn't easy, but it IS possible! Since June of 2009, I have lost 26 pounds. I still have 14 to go and am on a plateau, but I will not give up!!

Thanks for your comment on my blog.

You're not on a plateau. You're in "mini-maintenance"

I've been there. Good luck!

I have found the best way to break through a plateau is to shake up your diet. This may sound strange but when I felt I was stuck and someone told me to do that I looked strangely. But decided to try anything. I started eating dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. Within a month I was back on track. That is when I learned that our bodies get used to the same ole same ole. But when we introduce different foods at different times our body has to adjust to it resulting in weight loss again.

God Bless and have a wonderful day! emoticon

Finding the challenge goals....I start out on my spark page and then I scroll down to the teams that I am involved with. Click on the bootcamp challenge which will bring you to our main page. Scroll down to the "sticky topics" that Coach Denise has posted. This may help with any other questions you may have in the future. Scroll all the way down to click on the goals.
Hope that helps!
