I started this weight loss journey over 1 year ago and much to my dismay, I've made very little progress. I've been fooling myself that this would be an easy process, and life has thrown me several obstacles that I allowed to defeat me. I'm a 48 year old wife and mother of 2, and I work full-time (long hours; long commute).

Over the past couple of years, I've let lifes obstacles derail any efforts I had towards losing weight. Everything from injury, to surgery, to just a plain lack of motivation has been thrown at me and I've let those things derail me and even cause me a little depression.

But I'm ready for a new beginning. I know that I can lose the weight, and I now realize that hiding in the shadows and quietly watching isn't getting me anywhere. So I'm setting new goals and I'm going to push myself out of my comfort zone a little at a time.

My Goals:
1. Cardio 3x/week

2. Water... lots and lots of Water!!


My Program:
For motivation, make a list of the things you want to do but can't do comfortably (or at all) right now:
1. Wear a size 14 jean.
2. Feel comfortable in a swimsuit.
3. Feel good about how I look in clothes (…and out of them).
4. Jog 2 miles without stopping.

I'm from WA state. I work full-time as a Technical Writer/Editor. I'm 48 yrs old and married for 20 years to an amazing husband. I have 2 great kids (ages 27 and 17).
