WORKING THROUGH IT
I've always been on the go and active so being in pain and having trouble doing the simple things off and on the last few years has been esp. difficult for me to deal with. Along the way I have learned to unload possessions that were weighing me down, wasting my time and adding extra work; I learned to decide what is truly important and to focus my energies there (which led to even further decluttering than the first lesson learned); what I really want my home to look and function like ...
I've always been on the go and active so being in pain and having trouble doing the simple things off and on the last few years has been esp. difficult for me to deal with. Along the way I have learned to unload possessions that were weighing me down, wasting my time and adding extra work; I learned to decide what is truly important and to focus my energies there (which led to even further decluttering than the first lesson learned); what I really want my home to look and function like (spacious and organized, even in a really small space doesn't even begin to describe it); and to get up and move a little as early as possible as it really does help the pain be more manageable and the day be more productive. I have 3 kids and he has 4 and yes we know that is 7. I love homeschooling but don't have the energy to plan it all and do it by myself anymore so I am doing the best I can with schools. I try to find time to read or do counted cross stitch. They relax me and I am able to concentrate on them once the kids are in the evening. I am currently doing DVD programs and walking. I can't wait to get back tocampus this fall and use the fitness equipment.

My Goals:
I want to get down to 135 pounds. I hope that losing weight will help my pain issues by at least lessening the joint and weight related issue. Would be really great if it could get rid of the pain altogether too but I'm realistic that the muscle pain and spasms of my fibromyalgia is here to stay.
My Program:
DVDs and walking for now.
Personal Information:
I went to high school in Punxsutawney. Yes, the rest of the world loves groundhogs day and Phil but we all hated that little rodent. I finally moved back out of the area.
Other Information:
Attending IUP for B.A. in Political Science with minor in Women's Studies. Hope to continue on by seeking a M.A. in Human Services with concentrations in Drug and Alcohol Abuse and Child Abuse and a M.A. in Public Policy.
