another year older, another year fitter!!

GOAL #1 - Starting weight 185
January 7th, I began the 21 Day Ultimate Reset by Beachbody. This is a total body cleanse made up of a very strict, mostly vegan diet, which incorporates several supplements, including green powders and liquid oxygen. The challengewasnot working out. They tell you not to work out because you are taking in so few calories to begin with! I work out to de-stress, so i did not follow this rule, but I did cut out all weight training!

FINAL RESULTS: Down 11 pounds and 6 inches! I feel great! It was hard but worth every minute if it! I understand my body better and what I need vs. what I want! I have always thought of myself as a conscious eater (I am not a sweets person or a junk foodie) but now I really feel super clean! My sleep was more restful, my skin is do soft , my mind is clear! I would recommend it to anyone and I am looking forward to doing it again in the future!

Goal #2: Get Back on track...bathing suit season is fast approaching!

Starting April 2nd, I began following South Beach again. I will work out at least 4 days a week, alternating between cardio and strength training.
