I am really hoping that I can get it right this time, and make some positive lifestyle changes. I originally joined the Biggest Loser site in the beginning of 2008, and followed some friends here. I recently had a birthday and decided to make it the birth of new me too!!

Hey, I was already off line when you wrote--so I didn't see it until now. Yes, it is humbling that those vids really show you where you are at (fitness and strength wise) is not where you think you are at--or at least it worked that way for me. Sounds like a similar experience for you. I was also so surprised my upper body is way stronger than my lower--I would have thought it to be the opposite--but I do have 5 children (age 4-11) and I lift all of them up for a cuddle still so I guess those upper muscles are used to working more. I'm off to do the lower body vids today. Please check in when you get back on line. How did your weekend off go? I know being with family and friends can change things, hm? :)

Yes--did the core vids today. ( I'm doing NEW YOU and Swimsuit boot camp videos)

Must be spring cleaning time--I'm moving furniture, mopping floors, rearranging today too. Just took a lunch break after moving the book case and mopping under it. It is dry now so it is time to get back to restacking it. Thought it was funny, in that odd, ironic kind of way, that while I was moving the book case I thought about proper form, engaging my abs, so I wouldn't hurt my back--and then I could feel each muscle group in my legs as I lifted and moved the book case. If I wasn't doing the Boot Camp videos, I wouldn't be aware of those muscles or feel them so distinctly. You know?
