After reading an article on MMC champs eating a vegetarian diet and feeling their best, I've decided to change my diet habits. My overall goal is to live a healthy lifestyle by run/walking 2-3 5K's/yr and eating a mostly vegetarian diet with the help and motivation of sparkpeople.

My Goals:
To live a healthy, joyful and peaceful life.

To start a run/walk program again in May.

To eat a mostly vegetarian diet, concentrating on Eat To Live program.



My Program:
-Run 3x's/wk

-Jillian Micheals DVDs on 2 of the days that I don't run

-Eating fruit smoothies for breakfast and making my lunches so that I follow the Eat to Live program.


Personal Information:

I live in the Chicago area & I work at a heart hospital. Everyday I see how diet and exercise is the key to keeping your heart healthy & living longer. I always ask the 80 yr olds (that do better on the Stress Tests than most 40 yr olds) what their secret is to looking so young & healthy. It's simply walking for exercise. So, I am going to commit to a healthy lifestyle & apply what I preach to my life!
