Hi - My name is Lisa. I am 49 years old and have just been told by my doctor that my high blood pressure, high cholesterol and increased weight are causing tremendous stress on my body. Add to that the fact that I have been very sedendary and you have a big problem. I was always active in my life in the past - and I'm going to get there again. My goal is to reduce size (measurements will be taken today), drop 10 pounds by early November (my follow-up appointment), and reduce my cholesterol levels and blood pressure. I plan to do this through healthy eating and lots of exercise. Any motivation you can give me will be greatly appreciated -- I need to start this journey and get to the end. I know with all your help, I can achieve this.

My Goals:
This body needs to be toned up - my goal is that by the end of the summer I will have lost a lot of fat from my belly area.
My Program:
I plan to walk - my goal is to get to about 5 miles a day. I am currently at 1 1/2 - 2 miles, so this is doable. I also plan to start riding my bike - we have a lovely path nearby, so why not use it - right? I also have Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and a handful of other exercise videos, so I can rotate through them - but they will be followed!
