The stronger you get, the better you'll feel.

I'm Liane, and at 22 years old, I've finally taken control of my health.

The diet mentality, combined with an all-or-nothing attitude, has taken me to all sorts of extremes in the past 10 years - from bulimia to obesity to an incessant yo-yo pattern in between.

But, since moving to China in August 2011 (weighing almost 170 lbs at 5'2") and being told that women in my program usually gain weight, I decided that wasn't going to be me. I started making small changes, ...

But, since moving to China in August 2011 (weighing almost 170 lbs at 5'2") and being told that women in my program usually gain weight, I decided that wasn't going to be me. I started making small changes, built on those small changes until they became big changes, and somehow, for the first time, this whole idea of a permanent healthy lifestyle change has finally just...clicked! A few months later, here I am, 40 lbs lighter and eager to continue, each day, to become the healthiest ME there's ever been.

- Drink lots and lots of water

- No soda - not even diet

Hi, are you still an active member with Sparks. I was wondering if you liked BFFM? I saw one of your blogs when you were reading it and liked the philosophy of the program, but wasn't sure how it ended going with you.

You look amazing and I didn't know if BFFM had anything to do with it or not.
