Lori's gut has got to go!

I'm not getting any younger. When I retire I want to be active with my husband, not living from doctors visit to doctors visit.

My Goals:
I want to be healthy. I want to normalize my blood pressure, lose 2 dress sizes at least, and be able to keep up with my husband or maybe even challenge him to keep up with me!

My Program:
I've given up fast food - I haven't touched the stuff for at least 2 months. I've also started cooking more mediterranean style with whole grains, veggies and olive oil.

Personal Information:
I'm from Utah and would love to take advantage of our beautiful outdoors lto help me reach my goals.

Other Information:
It's incredibly easy to get caught up in an activity trap, in the busy-ness of life, to work harder and harder at climbing the ladder of success only to discover it's leaning against the wrong wall.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I wish you a Christmas
Full of laughter, love and light,
With delicious holiday foods
To excite your appetite.

Iím hoping you receive
Delightful gifts to make you smile,
With family and friends
To love you all the while.

I wish you a Merry Christmas;
May your Christmas dreams come true,
And when Christmas is over,
Happy New Year, too!

Great job on your recorded loss for our 5% Challenge this week! It's difficult to maintain or lose after a large loss but I'm confident you can have a loss again next week.

Thanks for the Spark Goodie! I'm glad to hear you will be joining us in the RV Enthusiasts 5% Challenge. Hopefully, it will have us sailing through the Holiday season with some losses instead of gains. Our first WI will be on Saturday, Nov. 19th. Be sure to drop in the new thread and set up your goals before then. Best wishes on reaching your goals.

I'm sorry to admit I haven't started the 17 day diet YET! This is an emotional week for me as my sister is going in for surgery tomorrow. She is single so I'll be at the hospital and go home with her for at least Thurs-Friday. I don't think any diet stands a chance but I'm working hard since I got back from camping and I'm down 3 lbs in 4 days. I am hoping to start the 17 day diet on Monday (once again). I'm still following you and you impress me. Even with your little slips the lbs are dropping so rapidly!
