I am originally from Nebraska, and I have been living in Mexico with my husband, Antonio, for 3.5 years now. No kids yet, but we do have a kitty, Kiki, whom I fondly call my "baby girl". :o) I have struggled with my weight all of my life, and up until this year, I have never truly worked at trying to lose it. No kids yet, but we do have a kitty, Kiki, whom I fondly call my "baby girl". :o) I have struggled with my weight all of my life, and up until this year, I have never truly worked at trying to lose it. I always did one or the other...EITHER exercise OR "diet", and it never worked. My highest weight was 222 lbs, which I reached in 2006. I lost about 12 pounds before coming to Mexico, then another 26 after getting here, but then I slowly gained back around 5 lbs over the 3 years we have been here. Then in January of this year, I suddenly decided it was time to turn my life around. Making small changes one by one, I have accumulated a 22-lb loss this year so far, bringing me to my lowest weight ever as an adult. My speed is slow...sometimes SUPER slow...lol...as some people, you can see, have lost 22 lbs in only a couple of months. However, I am going at a good pace for me, and it's in the right direction! That's all that matters to me!

My Goals:
Goal #1: 173 by 7/15/12 - DONE! (later than expected, but still completed!) Goal #2: 164 by 12/15/12 - DONE (again, behind schedule, but who cares??) Goal #3: 159 by 01/15/13 - DONE (158 on 01/28/13) Goal #4: 155 by 02/15/13 Goal #5: 149 by 03/15/13 Goal #6: 144 by 04/15/13 Goal #7: Re-evaluation and/or start maintenance program Other goals: Finally bought the shoes, the scale, and some new jeans. Moving onward! Track my nutrition at least 3 days a week. (I've gotten out of the habit, and desperately need to get back to it.) Eat more fruits and veggies! Eat "out" less and cook more!

Tracking my food and workouts, most days of the week. Circuit training and/or walking 6 days a week...usually
