August '09 before starting Weight Watchers
January 2012 - After working out consistantly for 7 months (I think its my best photo body wise)
I am a mom of 2 kids that finally lost the baby weight.(my youngest is gonna be 7). Looking for support and motivation to keep it off and tone up what I have!
Growing up I was always fit, not skinny. I graduated HS at 128 lbs, but had musclular legs and a flat stomach. Then came college...I did not gain the freshman 15, I gained about 5 lbs a year. After 4 years that was 20lbs. and I was not exercising almost at all. Then I met this guy who liked me for me weight and all. I guess being in a happy relationship, helped, We started Atkins, he soo gave up, but I kept going. When we got married 2 years later I was 108lbs. I was NEVER gonna gain back the weight!
Well got pregnant and gained 50lbs (couldn't even look at protein when I was pregnant). I tried WW and lost almost all the weight, but I wasn't committed and having a baby who hated to sleep consumed my time. After I had baby number 2 (another50lb gain). I lost some weight, but I was sick of dieting. I had tried Jenny Craig, the Fat smash diet, atkins again, sugar busters, La Weight loss, etc. I was sick of diet food. My new mind set was that I am going to enjoy myself, enjoy food and enjoy life. (accept myself as I am).
That was good in theory until vacation of '09. My 10 year wedding anniversary. I had bruises on my thighs from walking around in a bathing suit and my legs rubbing together. They actually hurt. I had to put babypowder on my legs to try and prevent chaffing. I looked in the mirrors and my body was round and I was not happy! My husband still loved me and NEVER said a word about my weight...That was my AH-HA moment.
Started WW in Sept, when the kids went back to school. This time, I was going for ANY weight loss, not quick weight loss. As long as I was losing, I was happy! I did indulge on the weekends and have enjoyed my journey. It took me 13 months to lose 40lbs, It was definately work, but not sooo hard that I ever felt I was working harder than the results I was getting. Since starting my Healthier lifestyle. I have run in multiple 5 ks, and my body(or brain) has really started to crave exercise. I am looking for people to share my road of maintenance with. "Slow and Steady WINS the race!)
My goal is to try and tone my body. I also have set a personal goal of a 10K by this spring.
Update 1/2012 Ran the 10k in 54:00 minutes
Next goal is to do either a 1/2 marathon or a triathlon. (swimming is an issue)
I am a Lifetime member at weight watchers.
My current program is Turbo Fire, I am following the calendar that comes with it.
Since June I have been running at least 1 5k per month to keep up my running.
Update 1/2012: I am on day 43 of Supreme 90 day. A power 90 type program, but for $20. I am seeing results and like feeling stronger.
I live in NorthEastern New Jersey and have lived here all my life.
| current weight: 8.8 over

Thanks for stopping by my page. I actually started doing more focused walking / running training to get my walking speed / running endurance up (I am NOT a runner, but I can walk a 13 minute mile).
I actually took most of the last two months off and have spent the last couple of weeks getting back into a fitness routine and am going to do a second round of Supreme 90 starting next week.
I am hoping to continue some walking / running training in addition to Supreme 90, but not sure how I will work that into my schedule, so we'll see on that.
When I finish Supreme 90 this time, I will be going into a running / walking focus, continuing to do major strength training - probably a 3 days a week running / walking and 3 days a week strength training rotation. I am planning on doing Tough Mudder in September and so will need a good balance of both.
I have a friend (Cocoa-Jumbo) doing Insanity and she is loving it.

Thank you so much for your sweet words. As we all know whatever it is we want to accomplish, we have to first get up and get moving.
Thank you again.

Congrats on getting back on track! Maintaining weight loss isn't always easy. I too had to track food last week and exercise due to gaining weight over the holiday. Keep up the good work
