I'm 35 years old. I have 3 children: 2 sons in middle school and a little girl whom I'm home-schooling for personal reasons. She'll be in 1st grade this Fall in an online program. I'm happily married to a wonderful man (abiggidy) who is also eating healthy and getting fit. I've lost over 100 lbs so far and have about 40+ more lbs to go and then want to maintain while still getting rid of body fat and gaining muscle. In this journey to wellness, I've overcome depression/bipolar that I've had since I was 8 yrs old! I've been med-free since Spring 2013 and only take natural supplements!! I've never been happier or felt more alive! It is absolutely true that what you eat affects how you feel!!! The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever!!! Through Him, I can do this! Baby steps all the way works for me! Fit 4 Jesus, Fit 4 Life!!!! Sometimes, it's okay to gain WEIGHT (wellness, encouragement, inspiration, guidance and helpful thoughts).

2012: Lost 40 lbs
2013: Lost 51 lbs
2014: Lost 23 lbs
2015: Gained 8 lbs.
2016: Lost 8 lbs.
2017: hope to lose 30 lbs this year....

My Program:
Eat clean, be active, choose JOY--Jesus first, Others second, Yourself (myself) last....
I'm trying to stick with clean food 90% of the time. It's difficult.

Other Information:
I love praise and worship music. I only listen to any kind of Christian music. I read Christian books. I read Christian based self help books, especially Joyce Meyer and Max Lucado books. I love Christian romance books. Love Inspired books are my favorite because they are really easy to read and I can read one and a half a day if I'm not doing anything that day. I'm a member of this website called Good Reads. I'm in a book challenge. I want to read 52 books this year. I'm ahead of schedule.

    Thanks for your comment on my last post. So do you have to default to the friend feed every time you log in? For some reason, it seems I have won't stay on the friend thing and I have to change it every time. Grrr. Maybe I'm not finding where you can permanently have it default to friends?

    Hi Liz, Yes I am Becky. I've gotten lazy at the 2/3s point. I needed to lose 140 and for some reason my brain thinks it's ok to be comfortable where I am with 40 more to go. My addiction for food will always be an issue and I have to control myself again. I am at least maintaining but I really need to get this over with. I have to start saying NO out loud again. I put up post-it notes all over the house again. I was reading that 85% of people that lose a massive amount of weight gain it back within 2 years. I'm not going back.
