HELLO ALL,

WELCOME! to my Spark Page.

Come, sit down and have a cup of tea while we get to know each other!

Hope you enjoy your stay!

Well, here we are in 2015...wow!...another year to renew our health and fitness goals. The past year was an exciting one and many goals were met, but for me it ended on a slow note.
So this year it is time to rev things up again and continue the successes of this past year.

This year I want to put God first in my life and let Him lead me on this journey He has set before me.
So some of the verses from last year still apply for me:

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you.
Matthew 6:33.

And the reminder that...

...with God all things are possible
Matthew 19:26

To these I add a third one to help motivate me and others who might stop by my page:

Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Phil 3: 12-14

With God's help, may we seek Him in all we do and reach the goals He has for us this year!

Hi Sue,
I was planning on doing the Spring challenge, but we were in France when it started, and I missed the deadline. it was not meant to happen this time around. I will try and get back on for the Summer one, depending on dates (big move is on July 3rd).
I will keep working at my goals, but I have to admit that it gets harder to remain focused as the stress from the move is increasing. I am trying to take it one day at a time. I already noticed that I do not sleep so well, and keep waking up thinking of all the things I need to do!
How are you? I wish you the best for the spring challenge.
Hope to hear from you soon again emoticon

Hi Sue,
Thanks for stopping by to say hi! I decided to take this challenge off. I tried to help with the last challenge and it turned out I was just stretching myself too thin and that did help me get any thinner! I hope you have a good challenge and that your knee continues to heal.

love,
Rachel

Hi Sue,

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. My pets have always been part of the family. It's hard to lose them. I'm glad you have Oreo and Caspian.

Tell me more about the Spring Challenge. Not sure I'm up for much this Spring, but I'm willing to re-evaluate that.

Love your background. So Springy! Have a beautiful day.
