Diagnosis wrong for 6 years.
So far 2012 has started out as a rough month. I've not worked in about four weeks now. Six years ago I had been diagnosed with FMS/CFS but as it turns out that diagnosis was full on incorrect. So far 2012 has started out as a rough month. I've not worked in about four weeks now. Six years ago I had been diagnosed with FMS/CFS but as it turns out that diagnosis was full on incorrect. This month I have seen four different specialist and had blood work tested three times, x-rays twice, CT with contrast, ultra sound, pap, mammogram, bladder test and still a lot more to run. It finally all came together when I decided that I would see a Chiropractor thinking that since I'm not finding any relief with the nerve, pain, muscle relaxers, sleeping pills, surely she can help somehow. And oh did she help!!!!!!! She pulled all my records from the Rhumetologist I had been seeing and found in the blood tests they had run there that I actually have Lupus. So now she has me seeing the people that I need to see, the tests that I need to have run, the diet I need to be eating, and she's still keeping me in line. I feel a lot better and once i get the last of my paperwork done I will return to work. So, it's been a long time since I was on the site but now I'm back. I want to find the support from others with Lupus, and support to help me hit the goals I have set. I'm ready to get started.
