HELLO & WELCOME TO SP! You've made a wonderful decision to take care of YOU! This site has made a HUGE difference in my life-I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
A few things I've learned along the way are:
1)Any small changes are great (Remember Baby Steps)
2)Don't expect perfection-this isn't another diet and you WILL make mistakes-just learn from them & get back on track!
3)Try new things both foods & fitness. I've found I enjoy foods I never thought I'd be eating and activities I never dreamed I'd be doing! So, find things you think YOU would enjoy & go for it!
4)Use the trackers-they will help keep you accountable for your choices!
5)Stay connected here-the support & encouragement you get AND give are so valuable-we're all in this together!
6)This probally should be number one-Be sure to measure yourself as you start this journey. I am finding the tape measure is much friendlier than the scale many times! Right now my scale refuses to budge but I am losing inches and my clothes sizes are getting smaller!
7)Make yourself a priority EVERY DAY!!
8)Don't forget to HAVE FUN & enjoy the journey!
