OPENING CHALLENGE: LIST 4 THINGS THAT MIGHT BE HOLDING ME BACK FROM BEING HEALTHY: 1- Thyroid Disease is kicking my butt. My DIL was in hospital this week with pneumonia. Turns out her thyroid function was rock bottom and she was only using 40% of her heart and retaining tons of fluid. Turns out....all of this was thyroid related. Since I had thyroid cancer back in 2005, I've ignored just how important my thyroid is (was) . I'm gonna read up on it and give my "lack of thyroid" the respect it deserves. gonna find out just how that is affecting my whole body. 2 - Thyroid Disease - I have no energy! Okay, I take that back. I might have 2 minutes of energy out of 10 minutes. That is enough to do A Fly Lady Fire Alarm Challenge of collecting 6-12 things that need to be put away or cleaned during each 60 minutes. That's gotta be do-able and would certainly mount up over the period of a whole day. 3. Giving up being over-whelmed. I feel better when I am making small changes in my life. Like staying with the low carb, SlimFast shakes with yogurt and fruit and dragging my butt over to my stat bike for 30 minutes. I programmed that 30 min. into my phone so i get a call everyday at 4:00 to get on the bike. 4. I am going to put my hand weights back beside my chair. I can do hand weights during tv time. I'll check back at end of ten week spring challenge and see how fantastic I did!!! Good luck to us all.

Personal Information:
I am a retired school counselor in Alabama. I have health issues that play a role in my losing weight but I am not going to let them stand in my way. I have grandkids that help out with my small Yorkie Kennel business and love to scrapbook and TRAVEL. I'm went on a trip to Italy, France, and England in the Spring. It was wonderful.
Other Information:
