Intro to Sparks in 11/09; Health efforts escalated following two heart stentss on May 23rd. Then 5/15 I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis and told to prepare for life in wheel chair. Dec 1 2015 I had 8.5 hour spinal surgery with anesthesia problems and loss of some memory and mobility but am gradually coming back in strength, mobility and mental abilities ...will see how far this improves. Most of my efforts are in the physical mobility and strength realm [using a walker now and starting training with cane in physical therapy], but must NOT gain weight and would like to gradually loose more with time.
With my return to Sparks I am decreasing # of teams and will also decrease some friends due to memory loss and trying to not overload the mental aspects of my day.

Linda, I'm doing pretty good, but I sure hope you get better. You are really going through a lot right now. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care! Bill

Thanks for commenting on my travel blogs, Linda. It was a great trip - probably the trip of a lifetime. My toes had some temporary nerve damage, but everything is coming along fine now. I'm even hiking again, but not as much as the weather gets colder. It's too bad you can't do these activities any more, but I'm glad you enjoy the pictures. Take care.

Thanks for commenting on my Colorado blog, Linda. I did have a good time on that trip. It's too bad the altitude bothers you and your husband - the mountains are a great place to explore.

In a few days I will begin posting about my latest vacation out west. It was the best trip yet!
