2009-2010 faculty picture. Sheesh, I even LOOK like a teacher!

Here's the "BEFORE" picture - my birthday, about five years ago -- note the watermelon instead of a cake! The kids are now all teenagers and I'm about 140 lbs less than this picture!

I have 8 pics in my gallery

Hi Larry,
Thanks for your comment on my blog. I hope your brother is OK. My friends just got power Tuesday night (in the Raritan Bay area of NJ). About 8 of our parishes took a direct hit. Many other had 4 or 5 feet of water in the basements of church buildings or the undercroft of the church itself. We're still digging out in many places. We were very lucky where Dad and I live. They think the eye of the storm went right over us.
We're keeping everyone in our prayers. The church agencies have sprung into action with all the rest of the volunteers. People always come through in an emergency. Like you said, things can be replaced.
Good to see you on. Blessings to you and yours!
Kathy

Larry, thank you so much for stopping by and commenting on my blog today! Yes, Mary was a shining example of a heart totally surrendered to her God. What an inspiration she was to me.

May God bless you as you continue your journey in healthy living!

Thanks so much for commenting on my blog. You know, should adults traveling with a youth orchestra be drinking anyway? Just because it's Europe and all and the youth will probably be driving the adults crazy at some point, even if they are good kids. I got through a party easily, but the hostess is a close friend, colleague, supervisor, and we talk health issues all the time anyway, so I just told her the truth and she made special accommodations for me and was very cool about it.

Yeah, the God thing bugs me some about AA. Because to me, the verbage makes it seem like we are all just so helpless. I don't believe that. Sure thing, God's there and all that, but he gave us choice and even sober we still have choice, for which I am grateful. Okay, I'll hush up now.

Have a great weekend!
