Losing 30 pounds is a challenge.

I am a weight watcher and I have been since February 2007. I have lost sixty five pounds on the program. I spranged my ankle last August(2008) and I gained 30 pounds back. I lose up to ten pounds and then gain it back no matter what I do. I don't think I am chosing the correct foods or eating enough. I eat every two to three hours so I am almost never hungry. By doing this it has caused me to eat less calories( I eat mainly fruits and vegetables for snacks between meals). I work out six days a week but maybe I need to find different activities besides going to the gym(cardio machines).

Although I might look good in my clothes, my weight is still higher than it should be. If I can get 30 pounds off it will be a great improvement for me. Healthy wise especially.

My Program:
Exercising 6 days per week including strength training. I use to dislike running but this time around I am jogging 3 to 4 times a week(weather premitting). Jogging is a great full body workout and I burn alot of calories in a short period of time. I am not sure why I didn't try this before.

Hey girl, I saw your post in the August challenge, and I noticed that you are up a bit for the month, and wanted to make sure you aren't getting too discouraged. Keep your spirits up, and don't give up! See ya in the September challenge!

Hey girl, I saw on the 30 somethings with 25-49 pounds to lose Huddle Wall that you need support. You have really been struggling for a while, good for you that you haven't given up first of all! That is a huge step. Second of all, I was wondering if you are tracking your calories you eat and burn with cardio? If not, try to include that as a new habit in your routine. If you already are, then take some time to really scrutinize your logs. Are you maybe not eating enough? It sounds really strange to say, but eating too little can really slow your progress down. Try pumping up your fitness routine, and giving a little bit more each workout, up your intensity and it might help you to see some results. HTH! Feel free to leave me a comment, or email me any time to ask questions or let me know how you are doing!
