And thanks for stopping by :) EWWW!! on the edible adhesive (!!), but I guess we shouldn't be too surprised, since there's all sorts of unimaginable "stuff" that's in a lot of our processed foods. Makes me want to stay away from the "Golden Arches" for good. But I haven't been there in ages, anyway. There came a point when I always felt awful after eating it!
Brussels sprouts are easy to fix, at least the way I cook 'em :) I just clean 'em, take off the outer leaf or two of each sprout, then cut a little "x" in the bottom (stem end). It helps them steam faster. Then I just put 'em in a veggie steamer until they're slightly fork-tender. Some people like them more tender than I do. Promise makes a fat-free margarine that's good on them, along with some freshly ground pepper. YUM!!
