I'm Randi, mom to 2 boys: Cody and Jeremy. I've been married for 20 yrs. to dh Rusty. I have lots of hobbies to keep me busy including the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), quilting, scrapbooking, teaching myself to play the flute, and reading (sci-fi & fantasy). I also enjoy poetry (reading & writing). I also help out with our church youth & children's ministries.

I've tried lots of diets and just end up yo-yoing. I'm determined this time not to let that happen. ...

I've tried lots of diets and just end up yo-yoing. I'm determined this time not to let that happen. Even though I'm so lazy I could be a rock! I'm going to get this weight gone!!! My goal is to go from 226 to 130 lbs. I know with God's help & some effort on my part I can do this!

My Goals:
I want to reach 130 lbs.

I want to start eating healthier and exercising more.

I want to have a better self esteem.

My Program:
I'm trying to eat more fruits and vegetables daily & cut back on sugary snacks.

I'm trying to get at least 8 glasses of water a day.

I'm going to try to exercise daily if just for 5-15 mins. a day.

I'm going to reward myself for doing things to reach my goals (no more food rewards), and I'm going to tell myself just to jump right back in there when I slip up. Just because I slip up once in a while doesn't mean I always will. I'm worth the effort. I deserve to be healthy & happy!

Personal Information:
My name is Miranda, but I go by Randi.

I'm from Arkansas.

I'm the stay at home mom of 2 boys: Cody & Jeremy

Happily married for 20 yrs. to dh(dear husband) Rusty.

Other Information:
I love quilting, reading, scrapbooking, & writing poetry. Some of my favorite authors are Anne McCaffrey, Robert Jordan, & Andre Norton (I like sci-fi & fantasy).

I am a member of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) & enjoy learning how things were done in the middle ages!

I have an illeostomy that sometimes interferes with healthy eating for me. But I'm trying.

Wow! I have an ileostomy also. Got mine in 4/06 and still trying to get over it. I can eat anything from fruits, nut, veggies, anything you can think of and I look like it also. When I could finally eat, I made up for lost time after getting the bag. Also so sad I had to do it, that made me eat also. Now I am trying to get back inshape....trianing to walk in a 1/2 Marathon here in Houston, tx. The sweat makes it hard on the wafers when outside exercising. It is so hard to get motivated at times and stick with it. I heard someone say that when you don't have a colon, you are more hungary all the time because the food moves thru faster??? I think I gain faster than before...

take care and keep working at it! Laura Beth
