NO EFFORT - NO RESULTS! THEREFORE, NO EXCUSES! JUST DO IT! ~ Janine aka Ladybugg67

Hello SparkFamily! My name is Janine and I'm on the road to success! The "Spark" has lit a fire in me that won't be extinguished. Ain't no stoppin' me now. I'm on the move!

I've tried many times to lose weight AND keep it off. I've lost and gained and gained and lost only to gain again. I'm so tired of that cycle. I am totally committed, motivated, and dedicated to becoming healthier and leaner. Most importantly, I am learning to love myself and put myself first. I am worth the effort it's going to take to lose the weight and get healthy. I have made positive lifestyle changes since joining SparkPeople on January 12, 2011. I am a work-in-progress destined for success. Each day that I travel on this journey, I am reshaping my mind and body. I am stronger today than I was yesterday. I know I will accomplish my goal of losing 100+ lbs and this time keep it off forever.

I just have to remember that when I'm anxious about reaching my destination that "A slow and steady pace wins the health and fitness race!".

To quote Confucius - "It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop."

Change your mind, Change your body!

When I don't feel like working out I am just going to remind myself that is it not about feelings, but instead about fitness!

Victory is mine!

Update 08/01/11: I have lost 35.1lbs since 01/18/11. I am losing an average of 5lbs/month. It's time to step up the exercise. My goal for the month of August is to lose 10lbs. ONEderland is on the horizon! I can see the light in the distance.

10/09/11: Not doing so good. Up 10lbs for a total loss of 25lbs. And the battle continues...

My Goals:
I WILL lose 113 by June 2013!

AIN'T NOTHIN' TO IT BUT TO DO IT!


My Program:
1. TRACK FOOD! If I eat it, I'm gonna track it. I will make healthier food choices and stay within calorie range of 1200 -1500/day.

2. HYDRATE! Drink a minimum of 6 glasses of water each day. Cheers to you good old H2O! *GULP GULP*

3. BURN FAT and BUILD MUSCLE!
Exercise 6x/wk. I'm gonna get ripped! Woo Hoo!

4. RECOVER, REJUVENATE and RELAX! On rest days do Yoga or Tai Chi.

5. FOCUS! Stay positive and believe in myself! I will win the Battle of the Bulge!

6. ENJOY THE SPARKPEOPLE JOURNEY! SP is the place to be!

I'm a married mother of two girls ages 15 nd 13. My loving hubby and children are very supportive of my efforts.
