It's hard to get off the last few pounds and I'm so close. I have hypothyroidism which makes losing difficult so maybe I should maintain as I've been doing and just keep tracking. I'll never be a size 6 again and at my age I'm satisfied with just keeping fit and enjoying life.
Born 1950. I have severe arthritis (since my mid-30's) and have undergone multiple hand surgeries (joint fusions, replacements, etc.) I also had a triple cervical fusion. Now have hypothyroidism. Old age ... gotta love it.
I've been married since 1981 to a great guy; no children. I have two wonderful cats that are the light of my life. Over the years I've always had cats that live to a ripe old age (the two recent losses were 20 years old and 16 years old) and one dog (a Westie) that lived to 16 which was almost unheard of as they usually live only 10-12 years.
I attend a wonderful Church and enjoy my immediate family and friendships.

Lol, that's so funny! I don't blame Rufus...he doesn't want to appear foolish if there's no water in the bowl - You know how they HATE to appear foolish or be laughed at ;) Mr. Louie is just filled with quirkiness. Miss Lily's funniest thing and hardest not to laugh at, is when she gets scared she'll jump straight up with all 4 off the floor...but she does it even when she's slinking forward to something new and she'll gently reach out and touch it and then do the jump up and back. Just kills me!
Thanks! Yes, he has one...he's had many :) I looked at your link - thanks! We're currently using a Drinkwell - but a ceramic one. I try to stay away from the plastic as they've been linked to feline acne (my first fur baby had that and at that time we had no idea why) and some other issues. When I'm around, he still prefers a faucet...any faucet! If I walk anywhere near a room with one he's right behind me and beats me to the sink. I can't bring myself to walk away until he's had a drink. He's got me wrapped nicely around his little orange tabby paws :)
PS: Lily won't go near the fountains or drink from a faucet! She drinks her water from a small glass bowl I put out just for her!
That's my Louie Boy, Laura. Haven't you met him? He's the one having some skin issues... LOVES to drink from the sink. He comes running when the faucet is on...fast or slow, he likes to catch slow drops too
