It's hard to get off the last few pounds and I'm so close. I have hypothyroidism which makes losing difficult so maybe I should maintain as I've been doing and just keep tracking. I'll never be a size 6 again and at my age I'm satisfied with just keeping fit and enjoying life.
Born 1950. I have severe arthritis (since my mid-30's) and have undergone multiple hand surgeries (joint fusions, replacements, etc.) I also had a triple cervical fusion. Now have hypothyroidism. Old age ... gotta love it.
I've been married since 1981 to a great guy; no children. I have two wonderful cats that are the light of my life. Over the years I've always had cats that live to a ripe old age (the two recent losses were 20 years old and 16 years old) and one dog (a Westie) that lived to 16 which was almost unheard of as they usually live only 10-12 years.
I attend a wonderful Church and enjoy my immediate family and friendships.
One more thought - You might want to call the shelter after you know they've arrived and tell them you've been caring for them and that it would be great if they can be kept togther. We don't know how much he'll know to tell them or if they'll figure it out on their own. The Tel # is: 352.873.PETS. Ok, I'd better get back to work!
