My Journey to Wholeness

January 2014: And the surprises just keep coming! As of January 1, 2014 I am reitred! And I've lost 4 pounds! Think one has something to do with the other? I know it does. My stress level is way down and I'm eating 3 meals a day at home. Yeah!

September 2013: What year this is proving to be! I was back on track, lost 22 pounds, married a terrific man, got back to the gym, and then BOOM! I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but it did. I stopped tracking, skipped the gym and here ...

September 2013: What year this is proving to be! I was back on track, lost 22 pounds, married a terrific man, got back to the gym, and then BOOM! I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but it did. I stopped tracking, skipped the gym and here I am again. Twelve of those 22 pounds are back. And so am I! I will banish those 12 and the next 30 once more.

Personal Information:
Originally from Texas; have lived in Louisville, KY for 15 years.

December 2006, on my 59th birthday, I decided I wanted to be fit and healthy on my 60th birthday. I made that goal. In 2010 I lost my way. Now I will finish what I started and reach my final weight goal.

I am retired! Whoopee! (Dec 31, 2013)

Fall 2008 I treated myself to ballroom dance lessons. I love it! In 2010 a knee injury and weight gain forced me to stop dancing in March 2011. I will return.

21,500 fitness minutes?? That's more than 358 hours! (if my math is correct..no guarantees!)

That's a lot of workin' out -- on top of all the other things you do! It's obvious you're very sincere about your health. I'm glad ...because your good health matters to me, too!

Hope all is well and you're having a wonderful summer w/ your DH! emoticon

I'm getting to be a pest on your spark page, aren't I? But I see your fitness hours showing up so I know you're working hard and taking care of "first things first!"

We are building an ark here because it's been pouring rain for almost 2 days. Then I have to round up the elk, bears, moose, etc. in pairs to load up! I wonder if SP has a way to track "herding moose". I'll check that out right now!

Think of you often. Best wishes to your hubby, too!
Nancy

How's the 5 k training going & your DH's rehab? We've missed you, but you have more activities to cram into 24 hr than the beach has grains of sand!

Hope it's going well for you both and I bet you're both feeling great (even if you're finding new muscles you'd forgotten you had!)

Hang in there...you're on the road to great health! emoticon
